How much we can fulfill our ambition to support ill children and young people along with their families across England and Wales is very much down to how much we receive from donations and fundraising. Please give as much as you can. We value every pound. If you are a UK tax payer, please consider adding Gift Aid. If you cannot spare cash, how about volunteering for fundraising events or promoting the Palmer Children's Trust?

Thank you very much!

MyDonate

We have teamed up with BT’s MyDonate to manage our donations.  With no commission and almost every penny of the money that you contribute coming to us, we think that’s pretty fantastic!  So all you need to do is click the button below to go through to our page at MyDonate.

JustTextGiving

In association with Vodafone and JustGiving you can make a donation by text.  It’s really easy: just text GIVE42 to 70070 and the amount: £1, £5, £10 or any other amount you would like to give.  If you are fundraising for us we use:

  • for running IRUN 39;
  • for cycling CYCL39;
  • for swimming SWIM39;and
  • for bungee jumping and parachuting (you’ve guest it) JUMP39.

Tax efficient giving

If you are a UK taxpayer, by Gift Aiding your donation is worth 25% more to us at no cost to you as we claim tax relief on your donation from HMRC.  For us to make the claim, please see if you can add Gift Aid and then check the box above.  If sending a cheque, please complete our  Gift Aid declaration form (PDF)
A small gift to us each month through your payroll is a very simple way of giving and is the most tax efficient way to give.  A £10 donation to us only costs you £8 at basic rate tax (20%) | £6 at higher rate tax (40%) | £5.50 at the 45% rate.
Any estate exceeding £325,000 is subject to inheritance tax (IHT) at 40%.  By giving to us, your gift if exempt from IHT.

Other ways to give

Please consider us in your will.  If you do not wish to make a donation to us in your will, please consider using Freeman Jones or Andrews Ritson to draft your will: their fees that they would charge you are passed on to us.
If you have time to spare, we would love to hear from you.   Volunteering can be a rewarding way to help ill children and young people in your community.  From lending a hand at a fundraising event to helping out with the promotion of our charitable objects, we’ve got a role for you.
If you know a Palmer let them know about the Palmer Children’s Trust.  Whilst our charity focuses on each and every ill child or young person, we want every Palmer in England and Wales to think of us as “their charity”.  Please spread the word!
